We offer a large variety of lumber and hardware to fully support the building consctruction needs of our community including Cypress wood and milwork for old, historic buildings of the French Quarter and Bywater-Marginy areas.

Free Delivery

Our delivery fleet provides a Variety of delivery options, including: LCF flat bed truck for big deliveries in tight places (i.e. French Quarter) and an enclosed high roof van for rain deliveries. Your order can be onsite – same day as your order.

Building Construction Supplies

We stock a complete array of cypress, pine, and treated lumber, plywood – treated and non-treated, sheetrock, Quikrete cement, nails, screws, brushes, tape and more. We also rent construction equipment and power tools. As an official distributor of Orgill products, we carry an assortment of hardware items from paint supplies to wide arrangement of nails, screws, nuts and bolts.

Wilson Bourg Lumber & Building Supply in New Orleans began selling lumber back in 1938 and later added building supplies to fully support the building construction needs of the French Quarter, Bywater-Marginy, CBD, and the surrounding New Orleans metropolitan area.

Since then, we have only chosen lumber suppliers that meet our own quality standards. We are unapologetic about our “no tolerance” policy for inferior quality. We inspect every shipment to ensure that the materials meet or exceed our grade standards. If not, we send it back to the manufacturer right then and there.
